Wow. The days just seem to be flying past. Ugh. Who am I kidding? Every one goes past kicking and screaming, dragging along until it's finally swallowed by the next one.
Mexico is getting closer, and the whole house seems to be ratcheting tighter and tighter as it approaches. I'm willing to bet our layover in Calgary will be sleepless due to excitement. I can only hope I can catch a few hours sleep on the plane down.
I've been looking at various websites that explain about tanning, and how to go about getting one. I, unfortunately, am a skin type 1. Oh well. I've never really tanned, so it's no big surprise to me. I'll just have to make sure I get some "liquid lead" aka sunblock 45, and apply it often!
The scheduling department at work has decided to punish me and has had me on two weeks of 4:30pm to Midnight shifts. I'll take it all in stride though, because I know that I will be sitting by a pool, drinking Margaritas while they continue to torture the other poor suckers... uh.. people who are still at work!

Where have you been...?
It's been a bit of a slog, but training is done, tests passed, and I'm back to my regular duties at work (all be it with more scope).
I had to remove the Solar Imperium game from my server. The code was pretty buggy, and it seemed to crash just when you were going to attack or be attacked. Sorry to anyone who may have been playing it. Instead, I've got a new one up: Legend of the Green Dragon. Anyone remember Legend of the Red Dragon, from the old BBS days? It's loosely based on that game, but with MNAY expansions. Again, I've placed the link to it in my links section.
We just had some IPTV installed in the house. High Definition Max Television from SaskTel. Very nice so far. The DTVR box works great, and the HD is nice and clear. The movies are video on demand, and there's a lot of free content to enjoy.
Mexico is creeping up! We're starting to get excited. Our travel agent is putting together the itinerary for our trip. I'm starting to put together a list of things I want to take with me on our trip. I may need to go do some clothes shopping before we go. I need some more shorts and shirts for the weather. I also need some new "dress" pants, as my butt is too big for my old ones. Maybe this weekend...
